Open the app and tap the large play button on the home screen. You can choose a preset duration (25, 45, or 90 minutes) or set a custom timer by tapping the time display. Once started, the screen dims to minimize distractions. Tap anywhere to see your progress.
First, try closing the app fully and reopening it. If the timer still doesn't respond, check that your device's software is up to date. Make sure you've granted Sandflow permission to send notifications (needed for session-end alerts) in your iOS Settings → Sandflow → Notifications. If the issue persists, please contact us at support@sandflow.app with your device model and iOS version.
On the home screen, tap the time display to enter a custom duration. You can set anywhere from 1 to 180 minutes. Your custom sessions are saved so you can reuse them quickly. You can also set a default session length in Settings → Timer → Default Duration.
Tap the chart icon in the bottom navigation to view your Stats screen. Here you'll find your daily and weekly focus totals, session count, current streak, and an overview of your most productive hours. All stats are stored locally on your device.

Yes — completely. Sandflow works entirely offline. All your data is stored on your device and no internet connection is needed. This is by design: we want Sandflow to be available wherever you need to focus, with no dependency on a server or account.
